『三千年食堂』は、失われた日本料理三千年の系譜が記された「料理大全」を復元するため、タイムトラベルで各時代の食堂を切り盛りしていく“食カルチャー・シミュレーション”。舞台は縄文時代から大正時代までの日本で、時代ごとに再現されたマップや、来店客の「胃袋のサイズ」「味覚」などのパラメータに合わせた経営が求められる。進めるほどに、料理が文化として積み上がっていく感覚が強く、歴史の空気を味わいながら“店を育てる”作品です。
