King's Quest IV: The Perils of Rosella is Sierra On‑Line’s 1988 adventure game and the fourth entry in the King’s Quest series. It was the first Sierra title to use the SCI (Sierra Creative Interpreter) engine, allowing 320×200 16‑colour graphics, mouse support and a real‑time day/night cycle.
Princess Rosella is magically transported to the distant land of Tamir and must retrieve a magical fruit to save her dying father, King Graham. Players explore forests, swamps and fairy‑tale castles, solving inventory puzzles and timing‑sensitive sequences across an in‑game 24‑hour clock.
