The game "Romance of the Three Kingdoms 5" was launched at the end of 1995. The high resolution corresponding to 800 × 600 and the exquisite description of the characters' avatars make it impossible for people to be too picky on the game arts. The newly added "Historical Event Animation" shows Glorious's bold attempts in the era of game multimedia, and also makes this serious work more accessible. However, the biggest technical enhancement of this work is actually the music and sound effects. From the initial simple analog sound to the slightly musical MIDI sound effect, the "Three Kingdoms" series did not make much achievements in music in the ten years after its birth, but in "Three Kingdoms 5", with the introduction of CD audio, everything have been fundamentally improved. "Romance of the Three Kingdoms 5" used CD audio for the first time and invited famous composer Takashi Hattori to compose music for the game. Sometimes it is majestic, sometimes fresh and melodious. So that many players still regard the music of "Three Kingdoms 5" as the best in history!
